Composting & Global Warming

Why do I get into a dreaming-about-next-year's-garden mode in late December? Maybe I'm thinking of plans for the new year. But, now I'm wondering....

Over here, I read, "Composting with worms can help to limit global warming and climate change as well as improve soil."

And over here, it says, "Everybody loves worms because they think they can do no harm but they contribute to global warming."

There's a Yiddish proverb that goes: Worms eat you up dead and worries eat you up alive. That comment sounds the most accurate to me right now!
