Composting & Global Warming

Why do I get into a dreaming-about-next-year's-garden mode in late December? Maybe I'm thinking of plans for the new year. But, now I'm wondering....

Over here
, I read, "Composting with worms can help to limit global warming and climate change as well as improve soil."

And over here
, it says, "Everybody loves worms because they think they can do no harm but they contribute to global warming."

There's a Yiddish proverb that goes: Worms eat you up dead and worries eat you up alive. That comment sounds the most accurate to me right now!
